The Bushfire recovery Gippsland page has been set up to support those impacted by the fires and planning to rebuild. Master Builders Victoria has created the content in collaboration with DWLP and the Bushfire Recovery Victoria task force.
Experiencing bushfire is a traumatic event. It can result in total loss of houses and other buildings or significant damage that requires repair. In many cases, old structures will need to be replaced. Replacement structures may need to be quite different to meet the Victoria's contemporary building requirements.
We are working closely with a range of stakeholders to produce solutions that will assist people as they rebuild. As we develop supporting documentation with the Bushfire Recovery Taskforce, we'll add it here. You'll find a list of Master Builders members in the greater Gippsland area that hold current Victoria Building Authority registration and can build to BAL 29 and BAL 40 here.
Master Builders does not recommend specific builders; We recommend that you do your due diligence and take the time to find the right builder for your particular needs.
