What I do

“I’m a qualified boilermaker and leading hand for Newform Steel Fabrications. I mainly work on site installing various steel works such as handrails, balustrades, and structural steel”.

How did I get here?

“I started my apprenticeship after working at a grocery store for a few years and wanted a change. After finishing my apprenticeship, I started to learn a more leadership-focused role and on-site work, which is what I’m currently doing”.

What I love

“I love that I can take a scrap piece of metal and turn it into something that is strong, useful, and beautiful. I also love that my work environment changes constantly. I never get bored, everyday there is something new to learn”.
