What I do

“I make oversized timber framed buildings, trusses and pergolas made from locally harvested and milled timber, using traditional and modern joinery”.

How did I get here?

“I completed a furniture-making course at TAFE and was then offered work with my current employer. After one year, my employer offered me an apprenticeship. The buildings we make are like furniture on a larger scale, so the initial training was very useful”.

What I love

“I love the challenge, creativity and physical nature of the work, being outdoors, problem-solving and being part of a team. The satisfaction of a completed project, the constant opportunities to learn and longevity of the buildings we make”.
