Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV) is currently looking for Assessors employed as DBDRV staff.

Assessors, both those employed on DBDRV staff and those contracted on a sessional basis as members of the DBDRV Assessors Panel, will play a vital role in the resolution of disputes by DBDRV.

A person who may be appointed as an Assessor is prescribed in the legislation establishing DBDRV as ‘a building practitioner registered under the Building Act 1993 ‘ or ‘an architect registered under the Architects Act 1991 ‘.

The DBDRV project has now advertised for 10 staff assessor positions with applications open until 23 January 2017. The positions for which we are seeking applications are:

• Building Assessment Manager
• Senior Assessors (2 positions)
• Assessors (7 positions).
