Readers may have noted their September-October 2015 issue of Master Builder arrived with a special annual review document to brief them on some of the important things Master Builders has achieved for its members and the industry over the past year, presented in plain language and concrete figures.
In the year of our 140th anniversary, we have had an action-packed agenda demonstrating again the important role our organisation plays in the broader building and construction industry.
For example, over this financial year we have delivered more than 140,000 hours of training, aided approximately 140 builders to become registered and reached about 60,000 apprentices and/or students through expositions and workshops.
This year, in its third year of operation, the Building Leadership Simulation Centre (BLSC) located in South Melbourne continued to deliver simulated training for a host of current and future leaders — in companies across a diverse range of sectors including retail, government, manufacturing, rail, building and construction. Offering a range of classroom and simulated learning experiences through our extensive training services, Master Builders is ahead of the game in terms of OHS, IR, leadership and management skills training.
Too often, these kinds of achievements—and there are many more—go unnoticed, so to combat that we have produced this thumbnail sketch for your review. We hope you’ll take a few minutes to look over the information we have prepared to see what Master Builders has been delivering for members and the industry over FY 2014-15.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, or would like more information about any aspect of the service we provide, call us on (03) 9411 4555.
