On 6 June 2017 the Fair Work Commission (FWC) awarded a 3.3 per cent increase to all modern Award wages, with wage-related allowances increasing proportionately. In addition, a number of Award expense-related allowances will also increase.

The increases take effect from the first full pay period to commence on or after 1 July 2017.

Updated Wage Bulletins reflecting these increases are now available for the Building and Construction General On-site Award 2010, the Joinery and Building Trades Award 2010, and the Clerks – Private Sector Award 2010.

In addition, an updated Wage Bulletin for those holding the extant Industry EBA 2011-2015 is also now available, reflecting the adjustments to the Award-related allowances applicable under the Agreement.
