Workers compensation claims can be extremely frustrating and enormously expensive for businesses that get it wrong.

The Master Builders OHS Unit has extensive experience in assisting members with workers compensation claims, a strong understanding of the legislation, the WorkCover Scheme and WorkCover Agents.

The Master Builders IR and OHS Units will be conducting a one-day (9.00am to 3.00pm) workshop on the management of WorkCover compensation and rehabilitation on Thursday 3 March 2016.

This Q&A-style session will provide members with valuable advice, from an employer perspective, to enable them to tackle this difficult subject from the day an employee is injured right through to years after the injury occurs.

  • Disputing claims
  • Return to Work duties
  • EBA obligations
  • Payments of benefits
  • Managing long-term injured workers.
