On 31 May 2016 the Fair Work Commission (FWC) awarded a 2.4% increase to all modern Award wages and lifted the national minimum wage to $672.70 or $17.70 per hour.  The increase will take effect from the first full pay period to commence on or after 1 July 2016.

Updated Wage Bulletins will be made available once the Awards have been formally varied by FWC to give effect to the decision.
