Victoria’s peak building industry association says a big decline in building approvals in November 2008 presents an opportunity for improvements to Victoria’s local planning services. 

Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) data released today shows a 10.2 per cent reduction in total dwelling units approved in Victoria in November 2008 (seasonally adjusted).
