The National Apprenticeship Employment Network (NAEN) working with the Australian Government, has established the Retrenched Apprentices and Trainees Program.
The program has been created in response to the challenges faced by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It aims to keep retrenched apprentices engaged with their training and help them complete their apprenticeship with a new employer.
Apprentices who have lost their employment can register, whilst employers can submit apprenticeship vacancies online and will have access to eligible Victorian candidates who have registered for the program.
