Bruce Lee Builder from Mildura took out the title of 2024 MBV Regional Residential Builder of the Year, North for the stunningly integrated and bold cottage transformation which showcases a huge amount of glass, low pitched roofs with parapets, multiple cladding types and huge exposed steel columns. 

While Zauner Construction Pty Ltd from Albury was awarded the title of 2024 MBV Regional Commercial Builder of the Year, North for the four-stage major redevelopment of Northeast Health which expanded the Emergency Department and delivered a new Intensive Care Unit, new Short Stay facility and fit outs of Medical Imaging, Pharmacy and Ambulance areas.

The two top awards were among 16 awards for display homes, custom homes, commercial buildings, and renovations announced at a gala dinner on Friday, July 5 at the Commercial Club, Albury in front of 140 guests.

Master Builders Victoria Acting CEO, Tristan Moseley congratulated the major winners on their outstanding successes, saying they were great examples of the very best of Victoria’s regional building industry.

“These projects clearly demonstrate that our members can – and do deliver – extraordinary results for their clients right across the breadth of Victoria, even while the industry continues to face a range of challenges,” he said.

“Our warmest congratulations to all our winners and finalists, especially to the teams from Bruce Lee Builder and Zauner Construction.”

Bruce Lee Builder will now go on to complete on behalf of the Northern Region at this year’s MBV Excellence in Housing Awards, being held at Palladium Crown, on Friday October 11.

While Zauner Construction will compete on behalf of the Northern Region at this year’s MBV Excellence in Construction Awards, being held at Palladium Crown, on Friday August 9.
