Victoria desperately needs a second soil waste disposal site as the cost of storing contaminated soil soars, affecting the viability of construction projects in Victoria.

Outlined in the Master Builders Pre-budget Submission, two decades of increased building activity and the lack of investment in waste storage facilities have seen the cost of storing contaminated soil rise between 169 and 862 per cent in just two years.
