Are you getting the most out of your employee training program? Up-skilling your employees in an ever evolving industry should be a priority for all employers. The benefits that come from having a more knowledgeable workforce far outweigh the cost and time spent sending people to training.
Knowledgeable and skilled workers equals more productive employees that waste less resources, money and time and most importantly, produce a higher quality of work.
And when it comes to training, Master Builders is leading the way. It is the only training organisation in Australia to offer course participants simulated training at its Building Leadership Simulation Centre (BLSC) as part of the CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) course.
Master Builder Training Manager Julie-Anne Sheppard said that it gives participants the opportunity to use the knowledge they have learnt in class and actually put it into practice.
“By allowing participants to respond to the pressures of being on a construction site, in a practical environment, we ensure the skills taught in class are really embedded,” she said.
“And to make training more accessible, we are continuing to offer the Victoria Training Guarantee (VTG) to eligible participants, which significantly reduces the prices of all our qualifications.”
Eligible individuals looking to complete the CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) course would be required to pay only $1190 rather than $3250 (Members) and $9130 (Non-members), provided they meet the VTG eligibility criteria, saving them $2060 (members) or $7940 (non-members).
Ms Sheppard said that companies wanting to up-skill numerous employees should contact the Training Department to discuss their needs.
“We are now able to provide tailored training solutions, incorporating both the theory and simulated training that encompasses the needs of the organisation – and at even better prices than before,” she said.
VTG funding is available for all of Master Builders qualifications, including BSB30712 Certificate III Work Health and Safety and BSB41412 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, CPC50308 Diploma of Building and Construction (Management), CPC40308 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Estimating) and CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building).
