The Victorian Government has declined a request from Royal Commissioner Dyson Heydon to provide a copy of a cabinet-in-confidence inquiry report about trade union corruption in Victoria. The report was provided to the previous coalition government in Victoria from current Fair Work Building and Construction (FWBC) Director Nigel Hadgkiss in 2013.

The report is understood to deal with allegations of kickbacks and bribery in the CFMEU, and has also been requested by Independent Senator Jacqui Lambie to assist crossbenchers in determining whether to vote in favour of legislation that would restore the ABCC.
