The Financial Services team is fully operational and able to assist with your finance, refinance, purchase, construction and business loan requirements.  The only difference will be that the meetings will happen over the phone and via Facetime or Skype.

During these uncertain times, many things are out of our control but there are certain precautions we can take; for example, making sure we have a roof over our heads, that we have food and water and that our health is protected.

One thing which is certain is that banks are still lending, which gives you the opportunity to establish lines of credit for your business and safety nets for your family.  At the very least, you can ensure that your existing mortgage is competitive in the current low-rate environment.  Unfortunately, I do not see this situation continuing in the short to medium term.

I believe banks will tighten their lending criteria so the options available to you today may not be available soon.

If you are feeling confident and know that the current crisis will pass, you may want to explore buying opportunities for property, shares or other investments.  To do this, I suggest you get your funds organised as soon as possible.

Most importantly, make sure you don't feel isolated, speak to friends and family, take the changes in stride one day at a time, be confident, take control of your situation and make informed decisions.
