The Victorian government is offering construction supply chain companies a chance to explore digitalisation technology in the UK.
The government is supporting a Digital Construction Global Discovery Exchange so that construction supply chain companies can experience the latest digital technologies through a visit to the UK during November 2018.
The exchange will involve a week-long program of site visits, meetings and events, providing Victorian supply chain companies an opportunity to engage directly with cutting edge manufacturing and construction supply chain businesses, experience the transformation and use of digital technologies, and to benchmark against global leading practice.
Participants will need to pay their own airfares, but the government pays for the ‘in-country’ expenses such as travel and accommodation during the five-day tour. Participants will go to London, Glasgow and likely Edinburgh as well.
Attendees could include, but are not limited to, companies such as structural and mechanical component manufacturers, fabricators, cladding manufacturers, glaziers and construction companies.
The closing date for applications is 10 October 2018.
