Australian rock and pop icon Kate Ceberano will perform as the feature act at Master Builders’ Excellence in Construction Awards on 12 August at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne. The event is an annual celebration of achievements in commercial construction as well as the culmination of the Regional Building Awards, which highlights residential and commercial building and construction in communities throughout Victoria.
Tania Zaetta (presenter, actress and charity founder) joins us as Master of ceremonies for the evening, leading guests through each of the awarded projects and recognising their creative teams present that evening.
Among the awards given that evening will be Master Builder of the Year (Commercial), Regional Master Builder of the Year and Young Builder of the Year. You can review last year’s winners here.
Kate Ceberano has a 35-year history of outstanding performance, having begun her career at 13 with an apprenticeship on the television show Search for a Star. Kate has won countless awards, including ARIAs and Countdown Awards.
Adding to Kate’s already impressive list of honours, in June of 2016, Kate was awarded an Order of Australia for charitable work, and services to the music industry.
