Master Builders Victoria (MBV) has again been on the front foot proactively engaging the media to publicly communicate our position on a range of issues in recent weeks, further enhancing our reputation as the building and construction industry’s leading voice.
MBV’s sustained media profile throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has continued to play a key role in helping to keep many of our members open for business and preventing our industry from being completely shut down.
MBV CEO Rebecca Casson has appeared in a variety of radio, television, print and online articles to amplify our organisation’s position to government, industry leaders, and our valued members.
A recent success saw Victoria’s 320,000 building and construction workers being urged to ‘Get the jab done’ as part of a new industry-led vaccination campaign. This attracted plenty of media interest, including from the Herald Sun.
An extensive billboard campaign, together with co-branded social media material including videos featuring personalised messaging from members, mail outs, and other communications has been arranged as part of the drive.
MBV's campaign has gained support from across the building and construction sector, with Multiplex and Metricon leading the charge.
MBV has also been vocal in the media supporting the Victorian Government’s construction compliance blitz – something MBV has long been calling for – and the need for priority vaccines for building and construction workers.
Here is a quick sample of some of our recent media activity.
