The national competition for Worldskills Australia takes place in Melbourne from 6-8 October 2016 at the Melbourne Showgrounds. WorldSkills Australia offers opportunities to young people for selecting and developing trade skills in a supportive and competitive environment where they can demonstrate their interest and aptitude.

Master Builders will be sponsoring the construction exhibition hall and will be running a “Try a Skill” participation program allows people of all ages to build and take home their own toolbox.

The student construction arena gives young people the opportunity to demonstrate their current trade skills before potential or current employers.  Master Builders encourages all interested members to attend the free event.

Master Builders works closely with community organisations, secondary schools and TAFEs. If you would like more information on how to participate or get involved, or if you are interested in assisting a young person with their building and construction career, please contact the careers team at Master Builders on (03) 9411 4555 or visit the WorldSkills website here.
