Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV) is currently being established to resolve disputes between owners and builders, which aims to resolve disputes early to minimise costs and inconvenience to the parties.
DBDRV will deal with disputes where they concern defective and/or incomplete building work, delays to the completion of building work, building work that does not comply with the building contract, or failure to pay for building work.
DBDRV is currently recruiting 11 full time assessors to inspect building work, as well as a sessional Panel of Assessors which will have around 20 positions.
