We would like to inform MBV Members that from 1 March 2022, there is a wage rate and allowance increase under the CFMEU EA 20-23.

For members with this EA, the wage rate and allowance increase must be passed on to employees from the first full pay period commencing on or after this date.

We remind members that the increases only apply to those that have voted up and approved the CFMEU EA 20-23 with the Fair Work Commission.

For members who have not formally approved this Enterprise Agreement, there is no industrial requirement to pass on any increases to wage rates or allowances. Where members have the 16-18 CFMEU EA, there are increases to some allowances that are adjusted for CPI movements. We remind members that the 16-18 EA has no further increases to wage rates.
