Our CEO, Rebecca Casson, is representing Master Builders Victoria on the Commission for Gender Equality in the Public Sector panel later this month. 

The Commission oversees implementation of the Gender Equality Act 2020 and plays a key leadership role in promoting gender equality in the Victorian community and workplaces. 

Under Victoria’s new Gender Equality Act, public sector organisations are legislatively required to make progress towards gender equality. At a national level, the Workplace Gender Equality Act applies to many non-public sector entities. 

The event will form a conversation on what directors need to know, and what questions they should be asking to make sure their organisation not only meets, but exceeds, their gender equality responsibilities.
