After advocacy from Master Builders Victoria this week the Victorian Government have adjusted the restrictions for Regional Victoria to now include the opening of Display Homes, subject to density requirements.
Display homes can now open without appointment in Regional Victoria subject to DHHS rules on retail that include cleaning, signage and density requirements.
This change is also a positive sign for the easing of restrictions in Metropolitan Melbourne, when that comes.
The Government are still urging all in Regional Victoria to consider whether it is necessary to attend the display suite, how to limit the number of trips and whether they can shop online instead to minimise risk of COVID-19 transmission.
