FRPAA offers a course on Bushfire Attack Level (BAL). The course will provide participants with the required skills, knowledge and ability to determine a Bushfire Attack Level and advise the necessary construction provisions.

MBV encourages practitioners who are required to assess and determine a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) and its impact on the construction requirements to speak with Fire Protection Association Australia (FRPAA) about their upcoming courses.

The BAL short course is mandatory when becoming a Level 1 - BAL Assessor or Level 2 or Level 3 practitioner under FPA Australia's Bushfire Planning and Design Accreditation Scheme.
